Now a painful little toe sounds like a little problem, and on the scale of things it is, but this has been going on for weeks. It hurts to put shoes on and in board straps.

I nomally kite surfboards strapless (I'm not here for a strapless/strapped debate, and as such will ignore posts to that effect.) but decided to try strapped this particular session.

In fact, there were positives, going over waves is much quicker.

I had the straps loose so I could change my stance as required.

I can't remember it happening, but I must have landed hard on my front foot in loose straps at some stage, and my small toe is swollen and really painful for about 3 weeks now.

Does anybody have experience and advice that may help me?

Cheers

I broke the toe next to my big toe due to loose straps on my board some how it bent under my foot when i was landing a jump and i stepped on it "snap" I was out for just over 3 weeks . have tightened my straps now so my feet don't have to much room to move around .

grab a hammer and hit your big toe hard

pain in little toe will now seem insignificant

wind is a cure for everything
If we had wind you wouldn't have time to think about anything else

ANd after lots of wind you will be sore all over so it wont matter anymore

Hmm, maybe loose straps are the problem, makes sense, it's one or the other.

How did you treat it in that 3 weeks stuntnaz?

Strap it with sticky plaster, bandaids, tie it to the next toe?

Thanks, appreciate the help,

sound like you may have broken your little toe.

me i like loose straps. they only on there so the board doesn'r fall of when i'm in the air.

That's the course of treatment I'm currently following.

Tried, couldn't, someone suggested a teaspoon of cement, tasted awful, spat it out.
