I weigh about 71Kgs.
I can get out of the water most days of the week.
Money is ok. Rather spend the extra and get better gear. But should I go 2nd hand?
Thanks.
Drop in to see Goshen at Kitepower 386 Latrobe Terrace Geelong (the main rd, opposite Geelong footy ground).
He is a similar weight and has 15 years experience in power kiting. Kitepower stock Cabrinha, Airush, Slingy, Naish, North, Flexi, Peter Lynn, Underground, Addiction, Ozone, MBS, etc, etc.
There is a huge range of used gear and a large list in the used gear listings on the www.kitepower.com.au website.
Something like an 06 Cab CO2, with 5 line bar and punch out safety for $1399, would be a good kite and size for that area. Geelong and Torquay gets wind from 10 to 30+ knots, if you get the bug you will need more than one kite.
Goshen has some great deals on last years kites too, no need to buy used.

Gilbo gilbo gilbo,
what a shocking post!
I'd recommend the vegas with a short nose line!
