no doubt hive would want to help out K. Try to resolve ths situation, especially now that it has been posted on seabreeze. Which is like a gospel for some ppl/readers/kiters etc.

I'm not saying that your products are faulty and that you would not support a brand that you would not have faith in etc E. But you really should not be offended when i say that it comes down to your word against K's word. In all honesty thats what it does tho. And that is how ppl will view this.

I guess you could also view your reviews as a non-promotional speil, but thats wat you are talking about. That is what you are doing for Hive. And K is merely having her opinion about the product too. So thats what it could also be viewed as, your opinion if you choose to call it that etc.

At the end of the day everyone on this forum has their own opinion and its good you are defending your sponsors Elizabeth. K is just having her say nice of you to try and resolve problem. Go above and beyond the typical sponsored person and try contact K to properly deal with this situation. No point in continually saying that its her fault that she has not directly contacted you to talk about it. And by contact her, I mean more than post(s) on here. Talk to the person who produces those bathers to get her number if you can. Think out side the sqare.

Best winds and sun kisses for ur part of the Coast.

Heya Kat n all ,

Just to let yall know. I have contacted Keil privately and once I have a few more details I am passing the full story, photos, explanation and everything along to Hive directly to help resolve this asap (I have home, mobile, email, address and direct 24 hour contact to Hive). Apart from the fact this is a small Aussie company still branching out, the Aussie spirit is still kicking in

I do ride for SurfConnect, however you will find my reviews branch onto other brands and products, not just the one I am connected to. I promote what I personally find is the best for me.

Hopefully from what I say n yack on about all the time, yall know who I ride for, brands etc, so people see who I am honestly with and can judge that with that view also.

I will get back to everyone once I know specific information and details and how it pans out in the end.

Thats 4 the classic ongoing laughs guys.

It wouldn't be seabreeze withoutcha.

My wife was looking at getting a couple of pairs? sets? of hives.

Is there a Lady Jane or Swanbourne Beach version (i.e lowers only). Could save me from getting shot in the eye from a wayward shoulder strap.....

Joking guys. I'm sure that you will sort out the customer regardless of Seabreeze posting. And the missus will still be buying some racks? of bathers.

Wot the h#ll is going on girls!?!

We all know there are no safe bikinis to kite in! But if you want to ride in a bikini and are prepared to have the thing fall off ALOT then just do it.

Personally, i hate the things. Boardies and rashie all the way for me, i can't be bothered trying to fix a bikini up every 2 tacks or after very wipe out.

Some of the designs do look good.

Yes yes and yes again. The truth of it is that if you are prepared to go out there and have some real fun then you really do not want to be worrying about being involuntarily stripped on every crash landing. If someone rocks up to the beach in just a bikini and claims they are off out for a surf or a kite then they are faking it! And despite my better judgement I looked at the bikini website and discovered that the togs seems to be just regular bikinis with extra guy ropes.

Kitesurfing is hard enough without string theory added to the mix.

Don't get me wrong - I have a bikini, and I like it, but it's not for kiting in. Laying on beach in sun = bikini. Hooning around in surf = fabric equivalent of scaffolding.

Firstly thanks to all who have commented in this "HIVE" forum, feedback is vital to ensure we can continue to improve and develop our product. We would however have expected Keilani first to approach HIVE directly instead of in an open forum. If Keilani was then dissatisfied with the response from HIVE then we would totally understand. We do understand Keilani's frustration and would love the opportunity to offer her a full refund on both suits. Please contact me directly to arrange this : Kat Hogg, Proprietor, HIVE swimwear 07/54492615 or [email protected].

In defence of HIVE, we are not a big corporation trying to cash in on an emerging market bribing athletes with big sponsorship $ to wear and advertise our product. We actually only offer product as sponsorship, not money.

For me, as a simple Aussie surfer girl, there is nothing more free than surfing in a bikini (with lots of suncream on, don't like the leather bag look either!). This is my motivation to develop a good quality product that is functional and doesn't look like a grandma suit. HIVE has a quality controller who overlooks production and a handful of athletes over a wide variety of sports out there testing the garments under duress.

Without seeing Keilani's swimwear I can only speculate on what has gone wrong. I will say it is very unusual as we have sold in the vacinity of 1000 swimsuits of this style with only 3 returns to date (not bad results in a competive arena). The problem with them was that the loop had been made too big, which may also be the case with Keilani's. Unfortunately even with all our quality controls, it's still not a 100% perfect world...

I do however stand behind my product and I do understand Keilani's frustration. I can only apologise for her embarrasment and hope that she will accept my offer of a refund. Thank you. Kat Hogg - Proprietor HIVE swimwear.

ie Swimwear Kat - who is totally unrelated to forum 'Kat' - as in the replier here earlier & all round frequent forum poster from Melville WA.
(just in case anyone was pondering on, or confused by, this highly unlikely coincidence of nicks)
