My dear kite looks in a very good condition, but I once tried to inflate it and left it for around 2 hours and it was still kinda stiff. I decided to lock the struts and leave it over night. Then It looked little bit deflated. I opened the struts and heard air going through almost every strut... Can't figure out what's the problem.. Tried the soap water technique and there was no bubbles... What do u think the problem could be ? And how much do u think it'll cost to get the kite back gd as new ?
you have a leak in the valve/valve connectors or a small hole in your leading edge bladder. That is one way to test where a hole is. Blow your kite up to 10psi, get a trigger spray gun and put a lot of detergent and mix with water. spray around the valves and connectors first as this is the most likely place for a small leak. If nothing bubbles, continue spraying over the leading edge, especially where the kite makes contact with the ground. A small bladder repai will be cheaper from a professional like Neil if you know where it is and cant be bothered doing it yourself.
