I have just found 2 holes, 3mm and 2mm in diameter, 3mm apart in a panel, but hidden by a strut, and I've planned a big day of kiting, with a board trial (picked it up from Airborne today) tomorrow, but I won't be able to get sail tape until Monday. Should I risk it? I've heard that small holes can become big holes very easily.

The holes were from an encounter with a tree 2 weeks ago (I wasn't flying it at the time) I found and patched 5 holes then, but I discovered these new ones today. Any educated response tonight or tomorrow morning would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you cant get the sail cloth in time you can use duct tape (cloth tape) as a temporary patch. Just make sure you put it on both sides & make sure you round off the edges of the patch to stop it pealing away (like any other patch). It will last for ages but it rots from the sun after a few months of use, then the sticky stuff stays on the kite when you peel it off. You can use goo remover to get it clean again though.
