How big to get going in 10 kn

Hi

Wondering about how big kite I need to get going and having a blast in 10 kn? I'm 80 kg

I weigh 95kgs and my Airush Flow 15.5 has been getting me going in 12knts.

Hey Kris_E,

you will need at least an 18m to have fun. You can use a smaller kite like a 15 or 16, but you will need to get a much bigger purpose designed board that will get you planing earlier and jmping will be lame unless you seriously power up with a bigger kite. The bigger kites suck for everything bar going in a straight line and small jumps due to their slowness in fwd speed and turns. Waves are impossible to ride in side shore conditions in anything less than 15 knots regardless of kite size.

It all depends upon what you want.

I would like to be out there and get a few jumps, back loops and so on... but of course I'm not to addicted that i need to go out in no wind . Just want a kite that I can use when my 12 is a bitch, but there is still some wind have fun !! something it is these days!!!
