Been watching a few clips of Len10 doing his thing and i was wondering how he does that self launch thing. The kite is on it leading edge downwind so its powered. Then it just jumps 2 mts in the air and he pulls it in one direction and hey presto. Looks cool and so easy. Does anyone know how he does that?

Pull in heaps of steering lines by the leader lines with both hands so kite reverses up then the rest is pretty much self explanatory....

Yeah, the back lines. Best not to try it just upwind of a 4wd in 30 knots.

I'm more interested in how he does those 15m high kiteloops....self explanatory?

On relaunch

When i asked lenten how he does it he said you have to "be one with your fuel".

doesnt work on most kites.

Does on 06 Fuels (the bigger ones 11,13+) and on 07 fuels. Basically the ones with big wingtips. Needs a bit of wind though.

Lenten loops, are technically easy to do, a little harder to land and even harder to get consistent. I can go as big as lentens little ones. That vid is an average size one (not enough wind). I've tryed a few lenten sized ones but 20m lines are needed for the catch me.
