Haven't been out in a few weeks, so:
Knocked off a bit early yesterday, sweet run home through the Gateway debacle, grabbed gear and walked out, pumped up, on water before 5, kited until nearly dark. Fun sess by myself between Sandgate and Brighton, only two mild jelly stings, too awesome.
Outlook on life improved considerably.

You are having a blast in Brisbane's mediocre wind and filthy muddy water.

Wait til you come to Perth's clean blue ocean, cold powerful breeze, and ridiculous gold and pink sunsets. Righteous.

South East Queensland has plenty of options on kiting locations

Kirra- seabreeze northerlies Sept to late Dec perfect clean clear water

Gold Coast- South Easterlies long downwinders

Sunshine Coast - Northerlies & South Easters

Brisbane- Sandgate & Brighton, perfect place for noobs

and some very secret locations

But if you get skunked- There is plenty of birdlife to look at especially at Narrowneck

Could not disagree more. Perth is the place to be. SEQ is rubbish, rubbish I tell ya. Anyone planning a holiday form overseas, head to WA, just ask Wishy, he knows the score.
