But the truth is,the Crossbow is blowing minds ! The Hellfish isn't even out yet and its obsolete !

They are really desperate over at Hellfish headquarters,so they quickly came up with the sketch of something the exact same shape as the Crossbow,and then dreamt up the next big hype. Bladderless!!!!

Oh yeah?? We'll see in about a year,IF they even make anything resembling it. It will probably just have major leak problems !!

also the hype about the crossbow is coming from kiters, whereas the hype about the best sh1t is coming from salesmen

If the leading edge is bladderless, a punture will require patching of the LE sock.
But the sock is cuben fibre cloth which is exclusive to BEST.
So a repairer will need to patch with something else that's airtight...rubber, plastic, not dacron?

And there are no struts, so the kite will be less rigid and tend to fold in the gusts.
And what about the floating ability that struts provide?
The kite will sink from the trailing edge.

I guess all these shortcomings will be sorted during the prototype process.

All they have is a cad drawing copied from the Crossbow !

It's not even in development! Just a drawing,and an idea for being bladderless. What the benefit of that is ,anyones guess !

I'm still quite new to this but have to say that this sport *has* to be the most brand-concious sport there is. In a very effiminate way!? Nothing is ever taken on merit, its all about brand and fashion, appearance and surface gloss.

I don't agree at all with the kiters vs salesmen claim, in fact its pure projection. The entire Best team are fanatical kiters. Shannon is not a kiter? Alex not a kiter? Go check out the video section on the site. Steve and Brownee are not kiters? Sheat! Kiting IS their life! One doesn't have to win the Nationals or feature in FireWA to be a kiter.

Heres an idea, for all you kite fashion police out there. Why not bring every *ucken kite you've got and spend a week in Shark Bay when the wind blows 30-40 kts for a week and then we'll see whose kite holds up. You want flat water, you want coral lined points and death beachies. you want 50 km down winders, you want a place where you could set up the worlds biggest slider park, then bring the *uckers up. This place is the ultimate proving ground and I'm sick to death of reading your crap, so bring ém up and lets see who wins. I reckon everyone will be soooo stoked by the level of kiting and the comparison of ideas between every brand that by the end of the week we'll be hugging each other in a beer soaked environment and swearing to do it again the next year.
Why not turn it into a grassroots comp.
