"Why is it that whenever the winds seems to be picking up at the Nobbies weather station it stuffs out and you only get the odd reading or none at all and you don't know what is actually happening ?."
then people get back with their take on what is going on like .
"The lifeguards run up there and disconnect it so that local kiters don't know what is going on "
Then someone else says 'nah they wouldn't do that becasue then the phone will keep ringing with kiters and polies wanting to know if it's windy.
every now and then someone in authority or 'in the know"actually answers the question and people can get a proper nights sleep.

and so on

Soo to kick things off has anyone got theories on this one?

It the first kiter that hits the beach in the arvo because he is a hog ......

The graphs show 8kn, 12kn, 14knyes here it comes.....then nothing,,,fark,,,,,nothing again,,,,,whats happening,
then 2 hours later 25kn.
I now know if there is no reading,the wind must be good.

It was good yesterday arvo.....and no-one was there to enjoy it....that is what made nobbies even better for a change...
