not meaning to rub it in, but yesterday was probably the best session I've had since I broke my ankle in January. I was out at the Cottesloe, on my 8 and fully powered up. Despite there being obscene numbers of windsurfers out, they were all north of the breakwater. I was on the artificial reef just south of the breakwater, and I was alone. The waves weren't big, but very clean. Some of the rides I got, I was so pumped I was literally screaming for joy. Haven't been so pumped for ages.

Eventually a couple of other kiters joined me on the reef, but by them I was too shagged to keep going, and after one near miss, came back ashore and collapsed in a heap.

God I love kiting. God I love Perth.

Another fkn windy day and this time my bloody car is at the panel beaters!!! Why is it that for sooooo long we got ****e wind, then just when I can't come out to play the bloody wind BLOWS!!!!!!!

I'm calling in sick as soon as we get a decent day (and I have a car!)

What did I do wrong to be punished like this????
