In the process of getting a 16m Cabrinha switchy '06 as am moving to Singapore, where the wind is light, oh so light.

Will i be able to use my Naish bar and lines? also four lines, approx 50-40 cm bar, from a 10.5 metre kite.

any help is appreciated.

Keeping the Naish for the NE Monsoon in Singapore, apparently for a couple of months of the year the wind does not disappoint.

Which year Naish bar. I know my 08 10.5 cut came with 20m lines. With a big kite like a 16 you want 25-27 metre lines.

why do you need a fast turning kite? there are no waves in singapore.

i reckon its better to have a short bar and slow turning kite so it doesn't move so much when you do a trick.
you jump by loading the lines, not by turning the kite fast. stick with the shorter bar in my opinion.

Ok, so it can be a short or a long bar... depending on who you talk to. But will probably need line extensions if using my '08 cult 10.5, and watch for water spouts...got it.

I can understand wanting to have a slower, steadier kite, but would that not be detrimental in lighter wind?
