My zip is not working very well...

It was working perfectly last year, but I did not rince it before winter and I did not use it a lot last winter. Thus the salt made like a rock coating around and inside the zip. Now, I just can not open it. That s quite embarrassing you may think?

Well, would you have any suggestion to solve this issue. I would like to use my zip again!

Oh, by the way, I have already tried to soak it into fresh water for 12 hours, without any results.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions! I speak about my kite bag zip, of course!

A. SUBMERSE ZIPPER IN BOILING HOT WATER AND LET SOAK.
B. WRIGGLE ZIPPER WITH PLIERS INTERMITTENTLY.
C. DO NOT APPLY RP7 OR WD40 (GLUE)
D. SPRAY DRY ZIPPER WITH LANOLIN SPRAY.

yes fver,

nothing like a frantic man in the eighties, when his chicks levi's zippers malfunctioned bad and hot water was the only option.
