All this talk about awesome kiting the frontals up in wedge, "I dont want to kite in frontals", wave states etc etc is pissing me off.
Im doing vac work down in Raventhorpe, working 6 till 5, 13 day fornights with the 1 day off to do whatever. Do you know how hard it is line up a windy day in esperance with a day off work? I'll tell you how hard it is. Its ****ing hard. My first day off...just not enough wind...in a perfect spot, waves...no wind. AND to top it off, the forecast looks pretty **** for my next day off this saturday.

So shut up all of you! DAMN IT IM GOING INSANE.
Im going to retire before I finish my degree.

By the way...waves in esperance. Im not telling

Yep. Either that or just work your arse off for 35 years from 7am to 9pm and retire a multi-millionaire. That's what I did and now I can kite all day, every day that there is wind. The rest of the time I can Surf, Jet Ski go boating or what ever else takes my fancy.

The harder you work, the luckier you get.

Don't believe in the Howard Scholarship.

The noose is tightening for those that do anyway. (thankfully)

Also havn't noticed too many scholarship holders down at the marina recently.

I wish I had 3-4 contact hours. This semester was more like 30 hours. And its only to get worse cause we have to do a thesis next year.

And no, I definitely do not want to do contracting. Its only cause that clough job fell through that I took this one...and I am being paid **** all too. What sort of stuff are you doing hosko?

As for kiting down here. I have got one kite in at hopetoun. Lots of beaches and breaks. There is one particular one here which picks up most of the swell and has a good iwnd direction but you need a support boat, otherwise if you drop your kite, your swimming with the sharks.
Try google earth for places east of esperance and you may cream your pants.

working in infrastructure on the desalination plant atm but they pan on moving me to a few different projects i think. on the desal we're doing detailed structural design and they're giving me heaps to do so learning lots. it's pure structural design so i find that pretty interesting, having said that i havent had to mark up any shop drawings yet so it could be getting worse soon, site visit today down to mandurah half a day off to inspect some limestone walls, f**k yeah!
