a mate of mine (who kites) was swimming with his kids the other day between the flags at Kawana when a kiter kept coming right into the flagged area between the swimmers... as in a couple of meters away without any regard for all the kids in the water. The lifeguards approached him and where told to " F**k off I will kite where I want everyone else does" and when the lifeguards advised the could take his gear they where basically threatened. I would be suprised if this was a local and my advice to the guy who did this is for you to f**k off from the kiting scene we dont want losers like you involved in our sport....apparentley he wasnt a very good kiter either.
