U have no fin idea!!! It's hot... Really hot... And there is NO FKN WIND.
We are not a happy bunch of campers...
Monsoons coming.... Juz 1 more month.....

... one more month and we don't have to rely on the broken big gear

juz need a beer and a "little lie down" an' everything will be ok...

We havent noticed because it has been 20KNOTS NE FOR 5 DAYS STRAIGHT.

Was actually a relief that it didnt blow again today.Gives the sore knees,back ribs,blistered hands and sunburn a chance to heal.

True, but the fact remains, we still need some decent wind in Sydney!

ok so there's not as much water being thrown on the heater today but now we have gone from the sauna to the blast furnace

You poor buggers. Up here in Cairns it is warm, sunny and as it has been for the last 7 months, blowing 15 to 20 knots.

Nelsons bay and north out of the valley effect (hot NW) and were much cooler with NE seabreezes .There are murmurings that the massive open cut coal mines of the hunter are creating a localised microclimate that despite what you would think are killing the seabreezes and creating a stinking hot hellhole

I have just had a look at the sea temps and anomolies and there is a colder than normal pool just to the south and warmer than normal just to the north .cool flows to warm and i wonder if this is making the battle between the westerly and the NE seabreeze is influenced by this .Also something else that i have found is that the ave summer temps at nobbys over the last 4. 30 year periods (the bom puts them is groupings eg 1980-2010 1970 -2000 and so on) are actually lower than the ave over 120 years .the early 20th century was actually higher which gos against my argument9bad me) .A dark art this weather and as someone said " if they cant get the daily and weekly forcasts right how can they get it right for the next 50 -100 years " mAybe this hot ****ty weather is skewing my better judgement
