Any advice on how to best have a kite sent from USA please? Also what companies to use, cheapest cost-wise and about how much?

YES... I do support my local shops and have bought all my gear here, but am looking at a used kite that would be about a third cheaper than here.

Heya Pigsy or jt

just buy it Paypal, if its under a 1000 quid - no duties on it arriving here.

The US postal service online - has a parcel height,width...scale & pricing calculator. Find that out and agree with seller on freight price before you shell out your Moolah

Make sure its not a School kite or has any repairs otherwise youll be sorry

I looked into it recently and I think the USPS was about $140.

$150 postage - but is it worth the hassle that this could turn into if its not what you expect....

Just make sure it's under AU$1000. With the exchange rate I was just a bit over and I got slapped over $200 in duties and crappy processing fees. And don't try and argue that the kite and bar/lines are seperate items - doesn't work. It's the total of all items in the box.

i bought off diamond blue kiteboarding. US$99 to ship kite and board. Thank goodness they sent them seperately or I would've been charged even more duty fees.
