With the season upon us the last thing any of us need is an injury so I just thought I would remind you of the importance of hydration.

Like most people after a hard days work (million beers), I can't wait to hit the water but be mindful of your hydration. Ligaments become increasingly susceptible to tears once you are dehydrated, think of a piece of beef jerky as an analogy. The surrounding cartilage is approximately 60% water and kept lubricated by our synovial fluid. When we are dehydrated, our production of synovial fluid is restricted and therefore increases our risk of cartilage/ ligament deterioration and damage.

Just thought I would though it out there as I didn't realize that hydration had such a big part in sprains and strains.

Thanks for tip gazuki. I feel like a beef jerky running up and down the beach sideways to warm up. Better than injuries.

Good post Gaz
Staying hydrated also fights off arthritis and a load of other ailments
Coffee and Beer are the enemy, but I just like them so much.
Coconut water is the ONLY rehydration that genuinely works.
Don't forgot to eat a banana to avoid muscle cramps.

If it doesn't come from a bottle that says Organic, Gluten Free and Vegan then it's not good for you. Proven by science.

Would an organic gluten free vegan be chewy?
