Good Evening everyone....Just thought I'd Introduce myself to the site, not sure if im in the right subject or not, firstly would love to say love the site...read lots and learnt alot before becoming a member, from where and what to do with trainer kites to what I should look for in buying my full first kit,

Im an 80kg rider and managed to pick up

Airrush, Lithium 10m Kite bag lines pump etc (2010) and a liquid force influence 138 (2011) harness and impact vest all for $700, no rips or tears, was quiet happy with that and have read seasonably good things about them however everything has it's downfalls but for the price i thought i was doing ok.

Have only been out once as yet learning how to control it and body drag slightly with a mate whos been doing it a bit before me, however want to get atleast 2 professional lessons in the coming weeks, even body draging slightly and accidently sligthly air born a few times felt myself addicted very quickly!

Anyway hope to chat to u all on the site somewhere or another and meet plenty of u around kiting!!

Welcome jorme and good kite choice.

Yes I would so I speak for most here in that some lessons would be highly recommended. Even with modern gear things can go pear shape pretty quickly.

But hey that's what is awesome about harnessing the winds energy.

Welcome, great site and people here.

From someone that has just had their first lesson i have to say that at no time did i get airborne by accident, that's the beauty of an instructor letting you know what to do and when.
You wont regret lessons
