dude, its an awesome harness but they've had loads of problems with the webbing straps ripping which sucks so i'd probably steer clear

Can you elaborate on these problems? I am very interested.

I have one. I have used it about 20 times so far and no sign of problems. I personally think they are a fantastic harness but this is worrying.

I recently dragged a guy into shore from about one k's out because his harness broke and he did not know how to self rescue. Admittedly he was using an old windsurfing harness. Stupidity aside I would be mighty pissed off if I had a swim ahead of me because a harness was faulty.

I will do some web research.

i got an ion wasit harness last mouth,and in all honesty it was the best.
then after 1 1/2 hours the webbing started to show bad sings of where....

I just bought one, without knowing of this issue, so fingers crossed It will be ok. At least I know to look out for it now. Ironicaly one of the reasons I chose this one was because it was recommended (over other well known brands) for its build quality. The harness itself looks well constructed with everything you need and nothing you don't. It was the most comfortable and supportive of the ones I tried on.

got one and they are pretty dam nice, no signs of wear yet even though its been out plenty of times.
