Good question, what is the idea behind the cap? Since people can either red or green thumb a post, it seems fair in its previous state. Maybe you could have changed the scale so that it takes 5 votes instead of one to change the status? I am against all forms of censorship and the 10 vote rule certainly appear to be just that.
