Yep they'll be here very late Feb, but most likely in customers hands early March...
RRP is around $120, not too bad considering you get the LCD screen, plus a new backing plate for the camera so its still waterproof. Hoping to score a sample one in the next few days :) Will let everyone know how it goes!

I hear the US had 4000 LCD Back packs and they sold out in 48 hours. If you got in super quick, you'll get them first, otherwise we are all waiting for TET holiday to finish so the chinese workers go back to work and start shipping more units towards the end of Feb.
The first order for Australia is only 120 units being airfreighted out, then a large bulk order to follow shortly after.
Shipping i hear is about $60 to Oz from the US and AUD RRP will be around $139, so the price will be same in Oz as USA when considering freight cost.
All GoPro products have recently had the prices revised in Australia to be highly competitive with the online US stores (when you take shipping into consideration). This decision was made by GoPro in USA after conplaints from Importers/distributors.
Support your local GoPro stockist. More of your dollar stays in Australia, you get better service and after sales service should you need it, and accessories are on hand and available at your whim.

I agree you should support your local when you can, but 60 dollars shipping... Yeah right. I can get a whole box of skateboard stuff including decks shipped for less that that.
