Yo mondo,

Was going to text you today - you brought a wind curse with you!! [}:)] Friday arvo is looking good, head down to Woodmans point - directly south from Freo along the coast road, just past Coogee.

Might be heading north over the weekend, when are you heading down to Margeret river?

Hello Jezmondo,
Welcome to WA, this website is gold for forecasts and live wind readings as you've probably realised, don't forget it covers South and North of Perth also.
Check out www.waksa.org.au for good metropolitan kite locations and the conditions they work in.
FYI kiting at Cottesloe is restricted, refer the above website; you need to be a WAKSA member to kite there, the ranger has the power to confiscate your equipment and fine you if you are not, and non-members kiting there jeopardise access to the spot for others.
Enjoy your stay,
Jess & VB

There were a few at Leighton, not great conditions from what I saw though. Maybe we're just spoilt. Keep an eye out for Friday, there'll be a crew at Woodman Point and Leighton. Scarbs draws a bigger crowd for waves than Cott.

Thanks for all yuo info guys... hi Oakie... I am now in Bunbury (passing through on my way to Margeret River where I shall be tonight), and it is blowing gonna go out soon, just trying to find a launch spot, there doesnt seem to be any other kiters around, which is mad as the water is dead flat and theres a good Breeze, maybe 10m weather?

Everyone I ask about kiting looks at me as If I nwere mad, never heard of it...... Crazy as theres water everywhere some great spots.....

Going to be at MR till Sunday hten coming back to Cott/Freo staying there for a few days then going North to Lancilin/Geralton which apparently is very good.

Hope to catch up with some of you guys Monday/Turesday at Woodmans Point, that place looked amazing with flat water just like Coche but far better views... lets hope it blows...

Take care guys and any more advice would be great......

Oakie my mobile doesnt seem to work here can you pm me your number again, Ill give you a ring...

See you soon...

Mondo..

P.S

Trying to hoook up with Matt Smith, anyone have his contact details as bloody lost his number.....
