Yeah - I am not sure it was a mistake though. She turns 17 in less than 2 weeks and she had to be back by then. I'm not sure why but they always said that was the target. If she went for an antipodian or the minimum distance she would have been unlikely to make it. Food for thought anyway.

If they have Jess's best interests at heart instead of thier own, her planners would fess up and admit a mistake was made. You would have everyone 100% behind her then and focus would be on what she has achieved, not what she hasn't.
