I didn't try Jingo Jango, whether or not you're serious, but did try the more common spelling of 'gybe', which gave good results. This is one of the better threads on the subject, IMO: www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=38830
The trick with gybing a surfboard is to remember that it is a surfboard. You can move around on it quite a lot and not fall off or stop. Your feet don't need to be in the straps all the time.
When riding heelside I move my feet to almost toeside position before carving the turn then slip my feet into the straps on the way out of the turn.
When riding toeside I can rest my back lag by moving my back foot out of the strap to just behind the front strap. It takes a lot of stress off your back leg and improves upwind performance. From this position it is easy to move your front foot to the back and suddenly you've swapped feet to heelside.
