guys heads up, ffs get one of these on ya, 5 kiters on my local with all the gear no idea on safety, $1000s of dollars of gear minus the cheapest and important bit of equipment

and once again, in order to keep your blade from corroding while strapped on your harness of months or years of never getting used, cover the blade in surfboard wax and place it in the sheath. It will protect the blade and when you need it, it will still be sharp.

There are heaps of people willing to take out your kite for you, so its not even a question of doing it yourself. Unless you are lucky enough to sail nowhere near other people.

Just stay clear of kooks and locations that have no faaaarkn idea kooks.. Problem solvered
I'd prefer something that could wake up someone and take them out before they take you out like a coffee from Dongara coffee shop for example or just be defensive.
Take them out first...

If there was a harness that could quick release under load that would be the ultimate safety, then you can swim in faster too its so hard with a harness on!

Mystic have been doing the ejecting spreader for a fair few years , if your furkd and pull all 3 means of safety
then maybe your times up and he's waiting at the pearly gates for ya
