Best in summer in a northerly or Nor-easter. Can also kite in south to south easterlies. The area of coast between Brunswick Heads, Pottsville, Hastings Point, Kingscliff, Casuarina is great for long downwinders with km of waves when wind is right.
Im a newbie who kites at caba. Id kite here more if others were kiting too. Ive been driving up to palmy lately to kite with a mate. but there is often decent conditions and reasonably empty beaches down here, so let me know if you're keen. Greg
Thanks, I was thinking of staying at Kingscliff during late November,early December .. what are your thoughts please. Seems a nice beach out front of that Mantra development. Any advice greatfully received. thanks Goose
