Dont expect to have the place to yourself tightlines.
There will be the odd other kite in the sky.
Before & after parties are already a hot topic of conversation.

Thursday is now in range of the 7 day forecast and it looks like a return to our regularly scheduled weather patterns. Could this mean a nice solid 20kts for the Friday at Dongara?

What's this? There will be no parties at kitestock, haven't you heard? It's an intense three days of healthy eating, intense training, coaching, and competing, with early nights and no sex allowed.

Keeping checking the KITESTOCK
www.kitestock.com
website everyday now as we start counting down to THE event.

The KITESTOCK news room has information coming in thick and fast from our sponsors, and there's great things happening this year. Just check out the news from Best
http://www.kitestock.com/News_View.aspx?Articleid=43
that arrived this morning.

We'll also have important information about the event that every Kitestocker needs to know.

From Wednesday 13th Feb we will have live updates from Port Denison and these will continue throughout the event. So if you couldn't make it, at least you won't miss out on some of the action.

Well,

am in Dongara as we speak. Wind is shizen, swinging from NE to E & weak weak sea breeze coming in in the arvo - y'day was less than 10knots.
Local news mentioned possibility of cyclone up north over the coming w/end or early next week...go figure.

The Irwin River is semi-flooding today cause it pelted down y'day. The river mouth has burst it's banks for first time in 10yrs. Might pay to bring boogie boards..

If anyone knows of any virgins prepared to be sacrificed to Huie, make it happen...soon as.

Juddy

Hey guys this current weather pattern we are having does not look as if it going to let up anytime soon. Hopefully it will loosen its grip and give us Epic conditions all weekend.

I am driving up on Friday in my JEEP if anyone is strapped for a lift or wants to split the fuel just PM me

Cheers

Yep your on, it's about time I had a fly of the Rev. My next kite is going to be around the 7mtr mark (or 7.5 if I stick with a Bandit) for the surfboard and the Rev is on the list to try before I decide.

Hmmm, I have conflicting emotions about the lack of wind as I cannot go to kitestock this year....A part of me is saying, wish them well and cross your fingers for big wind so they can all have lots of fun.....The rest of me is thinking, sucked in for attempting to have fun without me[}:)]

....Pray very very hard fella's!

Too true! All depends on that tropical low up north.

Worse case: It develops into a full on cyclone which will totally wreck the wind and brings 37+ degrees temps

Best Case: It dissolves, trough moves inland and we get 30+ knot winds.
