Great website a few questions though.

What events will you be holding? Will you have to have the latest handle pass manuvere down if you want to compete, or will there be events that the non pro's can participate in.

What kiteing manufacturers are going up there?

I think that it is aimed at kiters of all skill levels.

Alex, will there be a surf event too??

Hey guys - this is an unofficial post just to keep forum responses hot.
The "Competition" is to be based around "fun" events designed to have kiters at all levels of expertese involved.
We, @ waksa, are still working through ideas to come up with a schedule of "events". Alls sorts of wierd & whacky ideas being considered but rest assured this will not be a 'competition' dominated by our elite kiters or the skills they have to make them the elite. The upcoming state titles will do that job.
Kitestock is all about 'community' & 'lifestyle' & 'fun'.
There will be great prizes from sponsors & we will do our best to ensure that all kiters have fair chance of winning.
Keep checking the website. We will be updating it regularly as planning continues, sponsors are brought on board & demo gear becomes available.
Anyone with ideas for 'fun' styled activities are encouraged to send them in using the kitestock info email service on the site. The more input we get the better we can make it.

Yup good one Shannon
But what I was thinking of was a downwind body-board-drag race
Was thinking of calling it the 'Stent Handicap' after that famous WA boogy-man
1st prize a free signed copy of FIREAWAY 3

A body dragging race? I d better bring my hypersmooth, superwaxed shiny wetsuit then...

Also...

Hmmm I can imagine:

On your marks! 50 newbies side by side on the start lane, all transfixed, trying to keep their kite at the zenith and oblivious to anything/anyone around them...

Get ready! for a 50 kite noodle!

Go! and behold the universe largest noodle!
