Long story short, my new 07 13m Waroo was converted into confetti on the rocks at Dolls Pt yesterday. MAJOR BUMMER.

What did leave me with a warm fuzzy feeling on the way home was the kind generosity of some of the people around our water holes.

Before I'd even finished picking up the peices, Graeme had already thrown his spare 12m Switchblade in the back of my car to keep me on the water. While that was going on, Alan was offering to loan me his spare kite. Seems to me, blokes don't come any better than that !! Even more impressive considering what I'd just done to my own kite. A BIG THANKS TO THOSE GUYS. Thanks also to Shayne for helping me untangle the mess at the crime scene.

Thanks for the thought fellas. Brian the kite surgeon will be giving his prognosis during the week.... but it aint lookin to good.

Could be a fair while before any 08 gear starts landing in Oz though. Would be a shame to get something new just before it did.

I've read all about the new Naish stuff. Any one heard of any other brands with good stuff around the corner also ???

I end up with a lot of kites in my repair loft that other people are not game to tackle, so if you have any problems give me a call.

Cheers Bob. The kite is at the surgeons awaiting prognosis. Apparently its a 50/50 chance of survival but the kite and I are very close so I took the "save my baby" option.
