I bought a 140 cm Kaos about 6mths ago and have found it to be a very nice ride. Holds heaps of speed and smooths out the chop very nicely. With its six fins it is quite grippy which makes it good in the waves but removing two of the heel side fins gives it a bit of a slippery feel and makes it alot faster which is great for lighter conditions. I sold mine yesterday (after being on seabreeze for just a couple of hours) and am getting Karl to make me another one but this time with wake style fittings so i can run boots or binding plates. I'm also going down to 130cm. His latest boards Look sweet with concave laminate bottom and 2 pac painted top. Rails are urethane which stops them chipping and the boards are carbon reinforced. P.S. I'm paying full price for my board and have no commercial interest whatsoever. I just like to get a good local product for a reasonable price! His number is 0407967272. Check em out.
I like the Koas boards they look the business. But for local product it would be hard to go past Addiction Boards. Pete has a new design that he is only to happy to let people demo when down at woodies. Its a sweet ride. I think when this board hits the shops its going to be very popular. Allan
