ok. ive taken apart the old sofia kicker... im goin to copy the autofocus one but with no pcv, its simpler, steeper and a LOT lighter

im also taking apart my 2 little sliders and making one bigger one. maybe if im bored ill get together a C rail...

but. im not gonna mess around takin these things to and from the beach... im leaving them at the pool QLD.

but, its as tidal as brighton is... over 1m of tidal difference etc.

im thinking, ill make them as high as the max tide is gonna be, then add minimal extensions which will go right down to the sand, but also let water move around them etc...
ill have the kicker on stilts like autofocus and the old one... and same kinda thing on the slider as the autofocus a-frame, and the Real kiteboading cameltoe...

oh yeah the extensions will be strong enough so we can still hit them when the tides lower etc...

but... if i leave them there the waves and tide is gonna move them. so how would the best way to anchor them into the sand be?

so far only thing i can think of is, if i get a heap of 3L milk bottles, fill them with rocks... dig a deep hole, tie a rope to the handle, fill in the hole, and then tighten the rope to somewhere on the kicker/slider... maybe one on each corner plus a bit of the stilts dug into the sand 2?

so has anyone else got a suggestion?

ummmm, how about you use anchors and chain?

they seem to hold boats in place.

old train tracks are not going anywhere if ya dredge them in. it would be your best option for a design without supports on the side, dont know how u could do it but its a method anyway.

How about you just keep taking your slider back home with you each time. Not everyone is going to like this thing sticking out of the mud and the council may take a dislike to it if it starts to fall apart. Just keep working on one that is able to be transported and then you can move it around to better spots than Brighton.

Hessian bags is an awesome idea! thats the kinda stuff im after,
train tracks are gonna be 2 hard to get out if i need to...

and no, slider is stayin there... when it falls apart ill go and get it an rebuild it bigger and better like im doin now... and come on, its a line 10m long or so, if kiters cant go around it or upwind or downwind of it, they got problems... and if i get complants ill pick them up, move them round the corner where no1 else goes
