boom boom

the donkey relaunches well, but if you invert it your screwed.
It dosent come with one pump either, but the 2011 donkey,I think they are calling it the Hellshetland, is going to be one pump.
It is reported to have 100% depower, trucks upwind, gives you massive pop, drift back well and it has the build quality you have come to love.Oh and will boost you to heaven with massive hang time and has wind range of 10 to 30 knots.
I think I have read to many reveiws written by(buy) the people who make the kites.

Sounds good, but is it bombproof?

Slave go away. The only thing your comments are good for is to start a 4 page dribble fest that sure isnt going to change the world or kiting in that matter. Good on you pal if you dont like one pump. I dont like brussel sprouts but im not going to go to the fruit and veg and tell every one. Seeing your such a pro, Design your own kite, sell thousands of them and then people (maby a couple) will listen to you.

Now that's original. ^^^
No, seriously.
A vegetable analogy, now that's straight out of leftfield.
lol.
Usually the 'car analogy' always pops up in these forum debates, which I never get ??
There have been a couple in this thread already.
You know, when folks compare cars and kites in some kind of fuzzy-logic argument.
Like somehow a tinbox with a thousand moving parts resembles a piece of sailcloth hanging off 4 strings.
lol.

Don't you hate it when restaurants charge you extra for brussel sprouts when you really only want the steak and chips

maybe now you get it??

If only dave spruce was here to provide another car analogy. Did that guy know cars or what!

I wonder if there is a simple reasoning as to why they choose to run with the one pump system like maybe its what the punters want, because its easier and it sells ....maybe not so sinister as wave rave seems to imply,
I wonder if its possible that its not so economical to offer wave rave specific custom (choices)

Maybe if you sent 2693 emails to whoever your favourite brand is (pity them) they would give in and produce a WS custom complete with.... no leash attachment ring
You could even try selling some Launch Pads whatever T F they are

It's always about the money, isn't it Jarvo ? ^^^
Always.
Hey, I'll pay more for less if you like ?
That's because I'm an exponent of the KISS principle.
You know that principle ?
Less is More.
Simplicity is not Difficult.
That's right, I'll pay more for standard-pump.
But let's call it something else, shall we ?
Sex-up the name a bit.
How about we call it 'Classic-Pump' ?
Yeah.
So, I'll pay more for classic-pump ...
Say $100 more.
... no really.

From a post in the Gear Reviews section it seems the following kites are offered as multi inflation:

North Vegas
Best Kahoona
Wainman (all of them I suppose)

So I will be selecting from the above after yet another session ruined by a one pump system today.

Right-on, junglist. ^^^
What's so wrong about customers having a choice ?
Why would folks argue against having an alternative ?
Maybe these same folks would prefer that all kites come in the same colour.
How about beige ?
By the way junglist, I fly Kahoonas.

i bet you got a big set too Wave

Wow never heard that one! (your so on it!)...... But why whine? its not gonna happen for a minority ,doesnt make economical sense whose gonna subsidise it? Maybe a bit like a Launch pad, ( still not sure WTF it is , where do I buy one ) How many will we sell, I guess is what dictates its success ?

i wouldnt really buy a kite without 1pump either.. but all those kites with the little hoses connecting the struts to the LE can be turned into "classic pump" by buying a few plugs and putting them in the valves... hell LF even comes with these plugs for maintenance stuff..

HOW TO FIX A LEAKING P.O.S. ONE-PUMP

#1.
First, pump up the kite rock hard.
#2.
Then submerse the whole kite under the water in the backyard swimming-pool.
#3.
Find the leak and repair it without disconnecting any sh1tty one-pump connections.
#4
lol

* connections leak easily
* avoid unnecessary disconnections

Totally agree on the less is more philosophy and i go that way almost every time with all aspects of life.

For me, it doesn't apply to one-pump as it does work, makes for (a tad) less hassle every time i use my gear and to date has made zero hassles for me.

A winner and worth the extra plumbing and miniscule weight.
