See so many crew unprotected from the elements on the drink,
We love the wind n water, it's good for the soul, but just had my 5 bccarcenoma operation, I'm on to it now but years of kiting has taken a few lumps out of me, surgeon told me he's seen a big percentage of water lovers, kiters, poleys, sailors and surfers coming through his surgery, so cover up
a 1 mm long arm shorty, cap, zinc or total block to the snoz lips cheeks and neckline
ya might look a twat but you'll still be going big in ya 50s and not pushing up daisys

This the shidt for total blockage from the sun for me, other suggestions are worth sharing

Thanks for the tip, ive noticed a few normal zincs from the chemist don't actually work they are a scam, happy to pay more for something like that if it 100 % works every time.

For the east coast guys- we are on the water more than 25 hours most weeks so sunscreen matters. Also we dont really have any clouds in summer.

This is really thick zinc . They sell it online from www.exmouthsurfcentre.com.au/shop/organic-zinc-sunfish/

It's only got ingredients that you understand and works well.

I used to use Island Tribe and Aloegator but can't get either anymore... Errr

Yep looks similar to the surf mud, bit of a prick to get off but shows it's working, after a session now using this I've not had any tenderness after a big session,

We have a few different options in the shop but the Sunfish is the cheapest and by far the most popular up here in the North West. These Organic Zincs are safer on the reef and just a better all-round product than anything we've previously used, I swear by them. If you are struggling to get hold of a good Organic Zinc locally we stock a choice of 3 Free postage over $50 www.exmouthsurfcentre.com.au/products/sun-protection/ Sorry couldn't resist a shameless plug, but it is kind of on topic

Cloudy days can actually be the worst, Skin cancer is actually caused by the UV reading, some cloudy days the UV level can be radiated much higher. So dont take a cloudy day for granted.

This is my favourite, doesn't rinse off in the water, doesn't sting the eyes and doesn't stain your rashie!

Hey Cauncy
Your a lot closer to the sun than most with those mega boosts.
Top advice mate.
Been using Mud ,probs the best block out ever.
Deffinately cover up as much as possible.
Agree for summer 1mm or 2 mm wety long arms legs cap or hat and sunnies if you can afford a good pair.
Lets keep Kitesurfing not pushing up daisies.
