Kitepower in Geelong are good...they get Sparrow to do the repairs and they are first rate and very reasonable price...all you have to do is get the kite to/from Geelong
Ive had three kites repaired by a sail maker in Caulfield. can't remember the name but the ph number is 95718677. The only condition is that the kites have to be dry and free of sand. If it's a small repair he'll do it on the spot for you.
We didn't do that much damage but it was on hoilday and might be able to claim the expense on travel insurance but it sounds like the excess would be more than the repair!
Horizon sails in Bay rd Sandy, does an excellent job at great prices. Sparrow is also good if you are going to be in Torquay to drop off and pick up a couple of days later.
