What a great night!!
Thanks so much Darren for showing us the techniques and tricks for repairing your own bladder, struts, canopy and LE casing.
Was fantastic to put some faces to names around here also and get some encouragement for my learning disabilites (on a kiteboard that is!).
Darren is planning to hold another night the same and then maybe others with different stuff so when that comes along I encourage as many people as possoble to head along.
Also guys in other states, this is a great concept and worth doing in your area. gets people into your shop and means you hopefully won't spend all your time in the shop repairing!!
Cheers,
RF

Hi People,
Yep, had a great night last night with about 16-18 folks showing up, pretty much on time and I think everyone enjoyed the clinic and learned something new, I know I did!
I'd like to do a You tube vid on it, but we were going pretty much flat out to cover everything in two and a half hours so there was for sure a lot of content. I plan on videoing upcoming clinics and editing them into mini videos of around 5 minutes duration.
Thanks very much to Ben aka Rumblefish for bringing along his tools and showing us how to splice Dyneema without the need for sewing. Very cool skill to have. This too will make it to a video soon.
We have another night coming up soon on Bar/Lines tuning, repairs, upgrade, and trimming kites with assorted other stuff. I'm sure we can probably get Ben to come along to that one too and again show us his splicing skills. I plan on running a clinic of some sort every few weeks with different content so keep an eye on our FB page and in the News section of SB.
Thanks again everyone!
