Now lets try and stay on topic.

I would like to take some more kite lessons. I would call myself an intermediate rider (able to go upwind, land back rolls, wakestyle grabs and some big airs) but i would like some pointers on my technique. I fly Naish shockwaves so i would like to go to a school that is familar with these kites.

What are your thoughts....

get to know the local crew where you ride and get some pointers from riders better than you. give advice back to anyone at a lower skill level than you.
best way to progress IMO

My mistake.....i'm up in Lancelin right now but will be back in Perth in a week or two.

I do learn a lot from the people i kite with but i would like a lesson mainly because i don't think my technique is as good as it should be....also i have never really had a lesson before.

Yup,

Kitecamp is nearly over. Both courses have been enourmously successful with the level of riding from all participants significantly increasing but in the second course in particular going through the roof.

A big congratulations and thanks to all of the riders who took the 5 days, expense and trouble to attend and make the courses as successsful as they have been. I'm honoured by your efforts, persistence, faith and commitment to "going for it" and improving in the face of fear, pain and physical fatigue. The daring dozen rock!

Cheers everyone,

Yeh ,thanks again Daren found the kite camp great . Improved a lot this week . Having someone talk you through what I previously thought were difficult tricks and now know are within the reach of most kiters.Met some nice crew as well.
A great time had by all.Highly recommended.
Worth a plane fare for you east coast folk. 20knts 5 days in a row.

maybe try a local school that have advanced riders as instructors. give them a call and see if they can give you one on one lessons just improving your techniques. one on one lessons help enormously in improving your riding style. good luck
