75kg / Perth & surrounds / 5'2" North Freestyle Fish

There are a bunch of short/fat fish shapes around. Super fun in the chop/small waves. Waves over head-high, not so good.

Next paddle surfboard I get will be a fish. So fun!

I've been riding for 10 years now and riden lots of boards from directionals to twin tips but I've been riding toeside strapped for a good five years. I just purchased a shin boards 5'10 quad fin The Duke and I would have to say it is one of the best surf boards I have kited on. Super fast great up wind and super loose for those snaps off the top through the sections. I weigh around 93kg give or take a few beers. Now ridding strapless and I feel free baby

Newo - pretty much any tufflite board big enough to paddle on.

Hey mate, I have been using my standard 6,4 firewire (main surfboard) for 3 x plus years. It coped a hammering both as my main full time surf board an my main full time kiting board (its still going strong). Luv ya Mr Firewire ... ;)

I reckon its possibly 3 inches too big if I was to use it a just for a full time kiting board, but as a all rounder one board for every situation it works a treat. I only notice its possibly too big when the wind is fully stonkin, I am fully lit up, and its super choppy.

Also its a wicked paddle in board, really good in indo glass head high waves. One thing is for sure, using my normal surfboard unstrapped for kiting has improved my normal surfing..... :)
