I find that the web sites are a bit touristy and send you to the most overpriced and overpopulated places they can.

I would recommend loitering on nwkites.com

Its the forum for the north west USA which covers the gorge, the home of slingshot and one of my fave places Hood River. Its winter there at the moment so most of the stuff is about snow kiting but there are a lot of posts from people bragging about their kiting trips...and they go to some amazing places that no one knows about. At the moment the flavour is South padre and la ventana of course but Cape hattaras rates a mention as well as brazil, DR, belize and hawaii.......and a thousand spots inbetween.

If you want the middle east....thats another story but I have a link here somewhere to kiting in dubai.
