Planning a trip to Fiji mid year.
Need to find the following setup to keep 'all' happy
-great kitesurfing for beginners through to advanced
-nice accom and yes we can pay for it
-resort style, pools, restaurants, bars etc to keep the non kitesurfing partners and little kiddies happy
-children friendly
-range of backup activities in case no wind, snorkling etc (but hey we want some wind)
any recommendations would be appreciated.

Time to go is Trade wind time.
We do our trip the last 2 weeks of August to line up smack in the middle.
where; you need to be exposed to open ocean to the SE.
the west side of the main Island (manalucas) is protected from the Trade winds.
the north of the main Island Where we go also gets a boost from the wind being funnelled along the Main Island and we get a 5kt boost.
without support boats kiting can be very limited by the reefs.
