Yea, you wont break it. I broke my leg before breaking my Cabrina Custom. Andy Yates pulls bigger moves on his kiteboard then the guys at the skipark, however he isnt jumping off a wake. But seriously your new kiteboard will still be better then any wakeboard that was make when wakeboarding first took off in the late 90's to early 00's. I remember when the 2000 model liquid force Rythme came out... MAN havent things changed since then.

Ok the big diffenrence is the binding factor, I wake board and kiteboard, I stared kiteboarding first. So i am very used to footstraps..
When throwing tricks behind the boat you use alot more power then most kiting, your rotations need to be faster so it is massively harder to keep your board on your feet while doing tricks if you loose one foot and come down badly very easy to twist your knee, ankle, other. As your traveling faster and being pulled in to the water harder..
The other thing is wake boards tend to drag alot more allowing you to create line tension easy, which is essential to get good pop.. Your kite board will travel alot faster easier, buut you will find it harder to get the same pop..
Wake boards being slightly heavier also help to create momentum in tricks as well..

get a Cab custom then have a set of bindings on the side for when u do want to use it as a wake board.

Im just learning spin tricks so i like the option of bailing... im sure when i become half decent i migth leave them on.

Not a great option. Wakeboards are much heavier and have a lot more rocker than kiteboards. You're better off getting a 2nd hand kiteboard on Seabreeze for $200.
