Does anyone know the address of the kite factories in China? I'd like to pay a visit to the fantastic women and childeren who make stuff that gives us soooo much fun!!!
sorry to piggy back but what about Thailand then, headed there in early June and would love to pick up a kite or two if someone can point me in the right direction?!
I'm also going over to zhangjiagang (China) in January 08 for a sales conference. I've been cruzing the net, I'm hoping I might get lucky cause zhangjiagang is a textiles city they make heaps of fabrics and that sort of thing there. I've found a few but they look very cheap and nasty.Th echeap bit is goodnasty not so good
Unless you are able to tune, setup and maintain the kite by yourself, I would highly recommend stay away from "cheap and nasty" stuff. In my opinion, it is worthy to spend the money on good quality, fair priced equipment with the local support and warranty, spare parts and "free advice and moral support". However, this is only my personal opinion and experience.
"Wouldn't touch it less there reputable, I was searchin a couple of years ago and it was asking me to send money orders to someones unit the zhang provence...watch out!! Although if it comes with a cute 16yr old GIRL..."Me pump you up long time" I might consider hiring her out, or leave her in the garage as a "Quick Pump".
