Looking at the charts Mauritius ain't the best that time of year,Dec Jan Feb Mar,are the worst months, if you speak to kitethrills they run trips around June to Aug ,Asia cranks at this time of year, if you check out Kiteworld.com/ travel they have a great world travel guide for kiters, with all the info you need

Cooks aren't really a place to go for waves

cauncy is right in terms of quality wind in Mauritius at that time of year, best time for kiting is mid year (June-Aug). Booked for 2 weeks mid July this year

Hey Upside Downer - the windy season in Mauritius is more winter than summer. December is not such a good time to go for kiting - its a beautiful place though, so if youve got to go then im sure it'll be nice - the god thing is its an island so an wind direction can be good.

PM me if you want to advice on more out of the way places for unusual wind directions.

Enjoy
