It's not just the Eastern Europeans who have worked out the value of a kite slave. At Brighton le Sands last w/e was a bloke called Diego from Chile with a tasty g/f who did nothing but set up his kite for hime, launch it, take videos of him and then land and pack up his kite.

And Diego wasn't a looker and definitely not that smart - in the course of the day he managed to nearly kill his learner friend by giving him a go just upwind of a stone groyne, wrap his kite around the warning pole at the end of the groyne, crash the kite into the fence and bushland on the beach and then got back to his car to find out he'd left his lights on and the battery was flat.

Chile's meant to have some awesome kitespots - maybe time for a trip.
