It was norm, he came unstuck on the beach getting his board off of his feet. Waiting for X-rays and ct scan results, I will let you know what happens when I know.
Great to hear he is ok az,keep us all posted. If anyone knows norm,he is a great guy and passionate about our great sport.Hope for a full recovery and c him back at the point.
Get well soon Norm. We all know your age now thanks to The West, looks like you don't have too many seasons ahead of you anyway Only joking. See ya soon.
Norm is still the same as yesterday. Still got pains up and down his arms etc. Docs are still concerned so he is going in for an MRI. Will let everyone know when he gets the results back. Az.
Keep us updated about Norm. He seems a tough old bugger so I doubt a slight smashing will slow him down. If he was well enough to complain about getting his new jersey cut up, then he sounds good.
Tell him there is another one here for him gratis when he is well enough again to kite.
Norm says he will be out of hospital today, I'll let him know about the jersey Daz, sure he will be stoked. The new board is awesome, really happy with it. Graphics on the top make it hard to concentrate though ;) Az.
Good to hear he is OK! Was it a technical issue, or did he just phuck up?

3 cheers to az man for looking after me...if i could i would marry him! stupid mistake daz coming in for a dismount when the front of the board locked into the sand and swung me around and must have cranked down with the right hand, and you know what those north kites are like, fantastic gave me a good old loop and landed me on my back. i couldnt move my arms or legs and a german lady was holding onto me so i didnt move my neck, she did a fantastic job. my lesson has been learnt. looks like 2 months of the water, and just cruising in and out from now on. thanks for all the well wishes from everyone, and i'll see you old kooks soon! cheer king norm p.s daz i'll pick that tshirt up real soon. oh yeah forgot.. ended up with a fractured Vertebrae but all is good, i can watch the cricket for the next 4 weeks.
