Does anyone have any news on a Japanese kite surfer who got lofted at Surfers Paradise beach 30 metres up at the beggining of January.

Apparently he fell straight onto his head. He was wearing a helmet bet it only covered the top of his head and not the forehead.

My friends parents ran after the kite as it dragged him accorss the beach. They stood on the kite to stop it dragging him into the water. He was unconcious so probably would have drowned. And he had lumps all over his forehead.

Anyway, the surf lifesaver took over after that. Just wondering if anyone knows what happened to the poor fella?
