Cool, but do you mind me asking why we get a copy for free? Did AKSA sponsor the show or something?
Yes your AKSA is one of the many sponsors of the series.
AKSA has been involved with the production and presentation of the KiteLife series from its planning stages onwards. We saw a huge PR advantage for kiting in having a high profile, industry produced production which guaranteed to promote a responsible, safe and 'clean' image of kiting to both enthusiasts and the non-kiting public.
Our involvement has guaranteed the series will feature individual safety segments in each show as well as portray an overall 'responsible' image/theme throughout.
It is hoped that the series will be another,
major arrow in our growing quiver of materials we can present when we need to defend our sport on the basis of 'look how well we can self regulate'.
It is also hoped that the production will re-inforce the desirability of AKSA membership and the PL insurance it provides to the many kiters out there who are currently carrying all their own risk. (which is a really big risk for us all as well)
So before the knockers start up the inevitable negativity of the good old forum bun fight let us say.....
Some would argue against it - some always will whatever way you go. We; the 6 state reps which make up your new AKSA board; consider it very well planned and executed expenditure which we believe will deliver dividends in many areas.
