Kitebeach Australia (KBA) the community web site for the Brighton, Melbourne (and northern Port Phillip) kiters is up and running again - still undergoing some small face-lifts but please come and visit (www.kitebeach.com.au) and let us know what you think - and if you are ever our way this is a great place to meet some local kiters who will be happy to show you around...

i just started kiteboarding this summer
i didnt realize winter winds are this bad! boring

tell me about...i now am thinking about all those days in summer when i was like '15 knots, forget it, i will only go out once it gets above 20'

What are you talking about??? Got out tonight after the sun set and kited until I couldn't see in the northerly that was getting gustier. Couldn't be better. Who would want to be in WA or Qld when you can kite gusty winds in the dark?

Maybe I'm wrong....
