TOP SH!T

Don't wear sunscreen, that's the best way to kiteboard for cancer.

just curious, why did you go with kite"board" and not kite"surf" (googles more searched term - personally i board better...much less gay and try-hard....but less specific to surf.... catch22 for me i'm afraid)

Best of luck for the day.

I will also support your cause, c'mon everyone else, just pitch in a couple of measly bucks, you won't miss it.

Great idea I think, maybe it would be good if it could be run at other places too.

Good work guys. A lot of us would probably benefit from the research etc too seeing as we're all down the beach so much.

"Kiteboard for Cancer" is a great initiative - esp coming from an individual kiter.
WAKSA has been contacted directly by the organiser of this event. At our June meeting we resolved to run a 'Kite for Cancer' downwinder on a date, hopefully, to coincide with Bens event in SA. We also offered to use WAKSA resources to cross promote both events, as well as the cause.
The Choice Xmas Course Racing event last season introduced WAKSA to Redkite - a charity centred around "Kids with Cancer" which has also approached us for support in the past. As part of last months resolution WAKSA is now investigating the potential of a formal, ongoing sponsorship agreement of 'Redkite'. You can follow our progress on this and other issues by tuning in to www.waksa.com

NB: You do not have to be a fully paid WAKSA member to be included in the WAKSA email newsletter loop. Simply register your user name at.... www.hugedomains.com/domain_profile.cfm?d=waksa&e=com
However; your support through paid membership does provide up to $10M public liability insurance AND continues to assist WAKSA in achieving our goals of safety & beach access etc.
