Hi all,
just curious are there any major differences between kiteboards and wakeboards? (apart from the obvious fact of bindings on wakeboards)
Im talking in terms of construction, flotation, flex etc
can wakeboards be used as kiteboards?
has anyone done it?
Thanks

What I find that is significant firstly, is the weight.
A kiteboard is supposed to be, and performs much better in planing early if it's light.
A lot of other things like rocker line etc. are really personal preference in the way a board rides.
A light, wide board planes earlier and the rest of things are up to riders skill in balance, in coping with what is happening underneath him/her.
